GENERAL & SUPPORT01 / 11 QUESTIONS

General & support

Who provides my medical care?

Independent licensed clinicians provide clinical services. Omara Health is the brand that connects you to that care.

What can I contact Omara about?

You can reach out with questions about our services, eligibility, ordering, shipping, subscriptions, or how Omara works. If you are unsure where to start, this is the right place.

Is this the same as medical support or a clinician consult?

No. The contact form is for general questions and support. Medical decisions and treatment discussions happen only with your clinician.

How quickly will I hear back?

Our support team typically responds within 1–2 business days. Messages are reviewed by real humans — not bots — so thoughtful replies may take a little time.

Do you offer phone support?

At this time, support is handled by email and the contact form. This allows us to respond accurately and keep communication documented and private.

Can you help me decide which program or product is right for me?

We can explain how Omara works and what options are available. Final treatment decisions are always made by a clinician based on your health history and needs.

Do you offer hormone therapy and longevity programs nationwide?

Care is delivered via telemedicine by independent clinicians who are licensed in the state where you are located, subject to clinician availability and medical appropriateness. Some services may not be available in every state. If you are unsure about your location, contact us and we will confirm.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds with Omara?

Yes. Omara accepts HSA and FSA cards for all treatments and products, and many patients use them. Plans vary, so check with your plan administrator.

How does shipping work?

Medications are shipped directly to your door in discreet packaging. Shipping timelines vary by prescription and location, but details are provided once care is initiated.

Can I contact you about an existing order or shipment?

Yes. If you have already started care or placed an order, our support team can help with status updates, shipping questions, or next steps.

Is Omara right for everyone?

Not always — and that is intentional. Omara focuses on thoughtful, clinician-guided care. If a treatment is not appropriate, your clinician will tell you and discuss alternatives.

HORMONE HEALTH02 / 12 QUESTIONS

Hormone Health

How do I know if my symptoms are hormonal?

If sleep, mood, energy, weight, focus, or temperature regulation feel off — and standard advice hasn’t helped — hormones are often part of the picture. We look at patterns over time, not isolated symptoms.

What makes Omara’s hormone care different?

We do not default to one protocol or dismiss symptoms as “normal aging.” Care is individualized, clinically guided, and adjusted as your body changes.

Are the hormones used in hormone therapy bioidentical?

When hormone therapy is appropriate, your independent licensed clinician may prescribe hormones that are structurally identical to those your body naturally produces (often called bioidentical). Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved and are not equivalent to or interchangeable with any brand-name product.

Is hormone therapy safe for women?

Whether hormone therapy is appropriate depends on your age, time since menopause, personal and family history, and the type and route of therapy. Your clinician reviews the potential risks and benefits with you.

Do I need lab testing before starting HRT?

Yes. Full panel bloodwork is required before starting hormone therapy, and baseline labs are included. Baseline labs let the licensed clinician who reviews your intake confirm hormone therapy is appropriate and safe for you, set a starting dose, and monitor how you’re doing over time. If your symptoms are improving, no additional labs are required. Your clinician schedules a follow-up, usually in 1 to 3 months, and sets any repeat labs. See what’s in the panel.

How much does hormone therapy cost?

Hormone therapy is $249/month, billed $747 every 3 months. It includes your visit with the licensed clinician who reviews your intake and baseline labs. For HSA/FSA questions, see the next answer. Prescriptions (if appropriate) come only after evaluation by a licensed clinician; payment doesn’t guarantee a prescription.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds with Omara?

Yes. Omara accepts HSA and FSA cards for all treatments and products, and many patients use them. Plans vary, so check with your plan administrator.

Does cycle timing matter for hormone testing?

If you are still cycling, timing can sometimes influence results. In later perimenopause or menopause, hormone levels fluctuate less predictably, and timing is often less critical.

Why is progesterone included in some treatment plans?

Progesterone helps balance estrogen, supports sleep and nervous system calm, and is essential for uterine protection in women using systemic estrogen.

What role does testosterone play in women’s health?

Testosterone contributes to energy, motivation, libido, and muscle strength in women. Low-dose therapy may be considered when symptoms suggest deficiency and other hormones are appropriately supported.

What should I expect after starting hormone therapy?

Timing varies from person to person, and plans are often adjusted over the first months. No specific result is guaranteed; your clinician reviews how you are doing at follow-ups.

Will I need to stay on HRT forever?

Not necessarily. Some women use hormone therapy short-term, while others continue longer under clinical guidance — the decision is individualized and revisited over time.

LONGEVITY03 / 9 QUESTIONS

Longevity

What is the Longevity program designed to support?

This longevity program offers clinician-guided options your clinician may discuss with you. Your clinician will recommend the most appropriate therapy based on your symptoms, goals, and health history.

Which product is right for me?

The most appropriate therapy depends on your symptoms, goals, and overall health profile. Your clinician will review your intake and recommend the product that best aligns with your needs.

Are lab tests required before starting?

It depends on the treatment. Your clinician reviews your intake, symptoms and health history and decides whether lab work is needed before or during treatment.

Is this a subscription?

Yes. These therapies are offered as clinician-guided subscription programs with treatment options available in multiple durations depending on the product and your care plan.

What should I expect?

Responses vary and no particular result is guaranteed. Your clinician will discuss what to expect and how your plan is reviewed over time.

Can my clinician change my treatment?

Yes. Your clinician may recommend a different product, dosage, or delivery method after reviewing your intake to ensure the treatment is aligned with your goals and clinical needs.

Are these treatments only for weight loss?

No. The longevity category covers clinician-guided options beyond weight care. Your clinician will discuss whether any of them fit your health history and goals.

What happens after I start?

After your intake is reviewed and treatment is approved, your medication is shipped directly to you with clear instructions. Your care plan may be adjusted over time based on how you respond and your ongoing goals.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds with Omara?

Yes. Omara accepts HSA and FSA cards for all treatments and products, and many patients use them. Plans vary, so check with your plan administrator.

LOSE WEIGHT04 / 9 QUESTIONS

Lose Weight

Why are GLP-1 and GIP used beyond weight loss?

GLP-1 and GIP are involved in appetite signaling, glucose regulation and metabolic health. Research is ongoing, and your clinician can explain what it means for you.

How long does it take to notice results with GLP-1 care?

Some women notice changes in appetite or energy within a few weeks, while others see more gradual improvements. Progress is individualized and designed to be steady rather than immediate.

What lifestyle habits support better results?

Adequate protein intake, regular movement, consistent sleep, and proper hydration all improve metabolic health and help your body respond more effectively to care.

How is GLP-1 medication taken?

Depending on your care plan, GLP-1 medication may be an injection or an oral form. Your clinician will determine the most appropriate option based on your needs and preferences.

What are the most common side effects of GLP-1 medication?

The most common side effects are digestive, such as nausea, especially when starting or increasing a dose. Your clinician monitors how you tolerate treatment and adjusts dosing as needed.

Can GLP-1 medication be combined with other medications or supplements?

In many cases, yes. Your clinician will review your current medications and supplements to ensure compatibility and safety before treatment begins.

Are there situations where GLP-1 medication may not be appropriate?

Certain medical conditions or histories may require caution or alternative approaches. This is assessed during intake and clinical review before any care is initiated.

Will I need to stay on GLP-1 medication long-term?

Not necessarily. Some women use GLP-1 medication for a defined period, while others continue under ongoing clinical guidance based on goals and response.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds with Omara?

Yes. Omara accepts HSA and FSA cards for all treatments and products, and many patients use them. Plans vary, so check with your plan administrator.
